River Bend Apartments is a 26 building complex which is compromised of 31 townhouses and 394 apartments. Nearly all of the boiler systems were over 40 years of age, and combined with the high cost of operating this old equipment, the owners had a vision of upgrading to more energy efficiency equipment. By both resizing the systems and upgrading to the high efficiency EVO heating boilers, the complex realized an average reduction of 45% in their heating gas consumption. The first full heating season saw a fuel savings of approximately $50,303!
